Worth the Trip
A small garden studio in Wallington — one train from West Croydon, and nothing like what you'll find on the high street.

84 Blenheim Gardens
Wallington, SM6 9PS

About 15 minutes by car. Train from West Croydon to Wallington takes around 10 minutes.
Class Size
Maximum 10 people
Not 30. Not 20. Ten. That's on purpose.
A Different Kind of Class
Croydon has no shortage of yoga. There are big studios, gym chains, and classes that run like clockwork with 25 people on mats so close together you can hear each other breathe. Some people love that. If you're reading this page, you might be looking for something else.
I have students who make the trip from Croydon every week. When I asked one of them why she didn't just go somewhere closer, she said: "Because you actually see me." That stuck with me. In a class of 10, I notice when something's off. I notice when you're guarding your shoulder, or when you're carrying the week on your face. And I teach accordingly.
My studio is a purpose-built room at the end of my garden in Wallington. There's proper equipment, and a silence you simply don't get in a commercial space above a shop. It's about three miles from South Croydon — far enough to feel like a proper escape, close enough that it's not a mission.

Getting Here
From West Croydon, take a Southern service towards Sutton — Wallington is about 10 minutes. From the station, it's a 10-minute walk to the studio. The whole thing takes about half an hour, door to door.
About 3 miles from South Croydon, roughly 15 minutes depending on traffic. Free street parking on Blenheim Gardens — residential road, no meters, usually plenty of space.
The 157 or 154 will get you to Wallington from Croydon. Not the fastest route, but it gets you here. The train from West Croydon is quicker if you're in a rush.
What Students Say
"The Yoga Den is the one time and place a week where I can just let everything go - it's like carrying a suitcase which I just leave at the door! Viv is the best teacher you could ask for, and a wonderful person. 10/10"
"I have been practicing yoga for many years and found the Yoga Den by chance. What a find! My practice has improved considerably since attending. I am stronger and more flexible physically but also more at peace with myself than I have ever been!"
No experience needed. No flexibility required. Just turn up — I'll handle the rest.

I trained in Hatha with Saraswati Neville in Sutton, meditation with Swami Saradananda of the Sivananda tradition, and restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, a senior student of B.K.S. Iyengar. Read what students say.
